About the Rainbow Wranglers

The Rainbow Wranglers are Cleveland's non-profit Country Western dance group for the lesbian & gay community. We provide a place for all people to meet, have fun, and dance! Dancing is held at The Shed, 2900 Detroit Avenue, on Sunday nights from 7pm to 10pm. We dance new and classic line dances, two-step, waltz, swing, and other country dance styles to both country and non-country music.

Membership

Membership is not requried to attend our dances as a spectator or dancer, and dance experience is not required. Everyone is encouraged to participate in line dance lessons from 7pm to 8pm, then stay for open dancing from 8pm to 10pm. Our regularly scheduled Sunday lessons and dancing are free but we do ask for donations to help pay for the music.

Fundraising Activity

We actively donate to the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland through our blockbuster Spring Roundup and Fall Hayride. We also have collaborative and reciprocal relationships with many area organizations. In 2004, the Rainbow Wranglers was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
